Meet The Lady Rams: Taylor George

Number 23 Attacker Sophomore

5’7” Arnold Md, Broadneck High School

Taylor George is one of the most improved players on the Carolina team. She has become an amazing threat from “X” while being able to make very accurate feeds. Taylor adds a new dimension to the Lady Rams.

Lets get to know Taylor a little better!

 Top ten Pump up songs:

Whatever my favorite songs are at the time!!!

I became a Tar Heel because UNC has everything; a beautiful campus, great academics, great athletics, kind students and professors, great weather… a lot of other schools have their fair share of weaknesses but I think that UNC has it all. I’ve also always wanted to be a Tar Heel since I was little. The walls in my bedroom at home in Annapolis have been Carolina blue for a long time.

A piece of advice:

Treat people with respect and kindness and be yourself!

Best lacrosse memory:

Beating our rivals Severna Park High School 18-9 my junior year, ending their huge win streak.

Brittney Coppa is one of the workhorses on the team this year. She is a returning midfielder who is expected to have a break out season. Why did you become a tar heel!

The choice to become a tar heel was very easy for me. I have wanted to come to UNC for as long as I can remember. I wrote our head coach, Jenny Levy, an email in the 5th grade telling her that I one day wanted to come to this school. As soon as I visited the university I was sold. Our team is a family and it is evident to everyone around. Between the athletic success as a whole and the location of UNC I could not be at a more perfect school.

What’s your best lacrosse memory?

My best lacrosse memory was the final four last year. We got to fly on a chartered plane to New York and were escorted by the police to the game. Being there was the best feeling in the world.
